NIPK Electron Co. took part in the leading domestic specialized event in the field of radiation diagnostics – the XIII Russian scientific and educational forum with international participation "Medical Diagnostics – 2021", which was held from May 25 to 27 at the Crocus Expo in Moscow.
As part of a collective exhibition under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia at the MedFarmDiagnostics – 2021 exhibition, NIPK Electron Co. presented a wide range of medical equipment for X-ray diagnostics, X-ray surgery, computed tomography, ultrasound diagnostics, and nuclear medicine, created on the basis of domestic innovations. At the stand, the company demonstrated the capabilities of some of its developments: the weight-bearing CT system ATRISS, designed for conducting studies of the lower extremities. The system allows you to obtain 3D images of the foot and ankle joint in a standing position, under natural load. The equipment was developed with the active participation and expert support of specialists of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "NIDOI named after G. I. Turner" of the Ministry of Health of Russia – one of the leading medical research institutes of the country in the field of traumatology and orthopedics. A mobile X-ray system was also presented, which is effectively used for diagnostics in patients with high-quality imaging in the conditions of a pandemic. And another development presented by the company is an effective solution in the fight against COVID-19 by NIPK Electron Co. – a modular CT unit, which is equipped with a domestic CT produced by NIPK Electron Co.. The equipment is the main tool for conducting emergency CT diagnostics of patients during pandemics and emergencies. The company's developments aroused great interest among the Forum visitors.
In addition to the exhibition, the event was accompanied by a large-scale business program within the framework of several events, such as the XV Russian National Congress of radiology "Radiology-2021", XIII Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Functional Diagnostics – 2021" and the 10th Moscow intensive course on behalf of ISUOG and RASUDM "Ultrasound Diagnosis in Maternal-Fetal Medicine". Traditionally, the issues of radiation diagnostics and therapy, ultrasound, and functional diagnostics were covered. Advanced technologies were discussed by experts through the prism of various medical fields: pulmonology, urology, cardiology, dentistry, gynecology, oncology, orthopedics and traumatology, angiology, pediatrics. That is why the Forum can rightly be called multidisciplinary.
According to preliminary statistics, the Forum was attended by 4,500 participants.
