The diagnostic equipment park of the Hospital for War Veterans has been replenished with a new device of domestic production. The remote-controlled X-ray diagnostic complex «OKO» was acquired by subsidy at the expense of funds allocated to the Health Committee.

A modern digital device can examine the organs of the abdominal cavity and chest, spine, osteoarticular system and soft tissues. High image quality makes it possible to detect diseases at an early stage, which frees the patient from the need for additional research. An important advantage of the new equipment is the reduced radiation burden on patients and staff.

"We are well acquainted with the Electron equipment, before that, the department had an apparatus for 2 workstations, which had fully exhausted its life. With the new CRT, I can note the excellent visualization and interface – everything is intuitive, which greatly facilitates interaction with the device. I like the implementation of software for viewing X–ray images - perhaps the most successful solution of all that we have worked with. You can upload images from different devices, including foreign–made ones, to a server and then open them all side by side – it's incredibly convenient for work," says Fyodor Sklyar, head of the radiology department.

The device has already been put into operation. Its use has improved the quality of medical care and made the diagnostic process more efficient and comfortable for both patients and doctors.
