“We've been working on the X-ray angiography systems since June, and quite actively. We perform surgical interventions: coronary angiography, transluminal balloon coronary angioplasty with stenting in patients with heart attacks. During this time, we performed more than 300 coronary angiographies and over 50 stenting procedures. The system spits out great pics, visualization is top-notch. Interface is user-friendly, everything we need is right there," says Roman Makarov, Head of Regional Vascular Center “Regional Hospital No.23”.
With the addition of the angiography suite, doctors will be able to ramp up the number of surgeries, especially complicated ones, for cardiovascular disease patients. This means increasing the availability of emergency and routine medical care for residents of the Tyumen Region.
